There are absolutely no instant things in life. At least this applies to me. If you really want to get something, you must really put your effort on that, devote your time and energy, and don’t forget to ask for God’s guidance in everything you do.
I tried hard to catch my dreams. Even though sometimes I failed, but until now, I still keep on working. Maybe some of you also have the same thought with me, whenever you fail, all your hard work and hope seems like nothing. Useless. Then, in my case, I start comparing myself with others, and also regretting the past with ‘I wish I did better that time’ line. Worsening the condition, I usually have friends or relatives that seem to have it all, maybe it also applies to you. While we are working hard, he/she already got what they want easily, without any significant effort. Why them, why not me? So I start to blame everything around me, including myself.
Then, I realize that all things I have done in the past, be it successful or not, they are very valuable for my own personal development. I know how it feels to fail on what you really want to have. I also learn how to appreciate myself for everything, be it huge or small achievement.
What I want to say in this post is try to do your best on anything. Maybe in academic things: competition, school, study, exams, or getting a scholarship. It also applies in our friendships, relationships, family matters. You want something, you strive for it. You want people you care about to know that you really love them, try to be nice, show more affection on them. Remember, all needs process. In common circumstances, don’t always expect to get what you want in a short period of time.
Again, it is much easier to be said than to be done. But basically, when you have already done your best, you will have no regret. Whatever the result is, you have given all you had. No more ‘what if’ scenarios that only brings more negativity for yourself. What you got with hardships, you will appreciate it more than anything you got easily, right?
Good luck, people!
